Looking for an inspiring holiday at sea? Ocean Village has now sailed into the sunset for the last time and is no longer operating, but sister brand P&O Cruises, Britain's favourite cruise line, offers a great alternative - particularly with family-friendly Ventura and Oceana - where you'll find high quality, flexible options on board and a whole spectrum of exciting destinations ashore, from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and beyond.
Alternatively, escape completely with Princess Cruises and enjoy endless posibilities at its best. Or for a more classic experience, choose Cunard, with its legendary liners and White Star service.

A short history of Ocean Village
Ocean Village, 'the cruise for people who don’t do cruises' launched in May 2003 as a fresh new take on holidays at sea where formal dress codes, set dining times and fixed seating plans would not apply.
The original ship, named by Ulrika Jonsson, was joined in 2007 by sister ship Ocean Village Two, with Jodie and Jemma Kidd doing the honours. The cruises went from strength to strength with the friendliness and helpfulness of the ships’ crew consistently ranking highest on the passenger comment forms.
A cabinet-full of national awards have been presented to Ocean Village over the years, with the British Travel Awards recognising Ocean Village as the Best Mainstream or Best Niche cruise line no fewer than five times since 2004.
But it is the passengers of Ocean Village who helped brand to make such an impact on UK cruising. Their support and enthusiasm for the Ocean Village's informal and free-spirited approach to holidays at sea kept the brand in the spotlight all the way through to the farewell sailing.
All good things have to come to an end, however, and we’d like to thank everyone who came on the journey with us, and we hope you enjoy many more happy holidays in the years ahead.
