Tortola
Totally tropical Tortola is the capital of the British Virgin Islands and as quintessentially Caribbean as it gets.
With palm-tree-fringed beaches, endless sunshine and brightly painted buildings Tortola is a top holiday spot. Soak up the scene at Cane Garden Bay (pictured), stop for a rum punch at a funky beach bar or make your way though the maze of streets in Road Town, where the harbour’s a-buzz with fishing boats and yachts.
