Book a cruise online

What do I need to book?

Before you book a cruise online, please make sure you have read the Price Information and the Booking Conditions. Please note that by making a reservation (either direct with Ocean Village or through your travel agent) and paying the deposit/holiday price, you will be deemed to have read and accepted our Booking Conditions and all other information relevant to your holiday.

When you book a cruise online, please make sure you have the following information to hand:

1) Cruise and Hotel Details

7 and 14 Night Cruises

You can choose either one of our 7 night cruise itineraries, or a combination of both, in whichever order you choose. To book your cruise online or over the phone we need the ship name, cruise number, UK departure date and the itinerary name(s).

14 Night Stay and Cruise Holidays

This option features a 7 night hotel stay, followed by a 7 night cruise (either itinerary). We need the ship name, cruise/hotel number, UK departure date and the hotel and itinerary name. We also need to know the type of room you want to book.Other Holidays

Other holidays

For Transatlantic holidays we need the cruise/hotel number, UK departure date and the itinerary name.

2) Cabin/Room Details

We need to know what grade of cabin you would like and how the beds should be configured on board (i.e. twin or queen size). Please note that in some cabins the beds cannot be converted (see the Deck Plans/Cabin information for details) and that we cannot guarantee the requested layout will be available at Stay and Cruise hotels.

3) Passenger Details

We need the full name, title (Mr, Mrs, Miss etc) and gender of each passenger as it appears in their passport when you book a cruise. Our online system will also ask for each passenger’s date of birth. We also need the date of birth of any children (aged over 2 and under 14) or infants travelling. 4) Address Details

We require the full postal address of all passengers travelling (including postcode), at least one contact telephone number and email address if booking online.

5) Flight Details

We need to know which regional UK airport you’d like to fly from/to.

6) Insurance Details

The following details are required for the insurance details: the name of your insurance company, your policy number and the start/expiry date of the policy. We also require the name of the Emergency Assistance Company attached to the policy and the emergency phone number.

7) Special Requests

Make sure you indicate any special dietary, mobility or medical requirements when you book a cruise online. Before you book, please read the Price Information and the Booking Conditions.

Please note that by making a reservation (either direct with Ocean Village or through your travel agent) and paying the deposit/holiday price, you will be deemed to have read and accepted our Booking Conditions and all other information relevant to your holiday.

If you would like to book a Celebration Package please contact Reservations at least a week before the ship sails.

When you have made your booking you will be given a booking reference number. You will then need to pay a deposit of 10% of the holiday price per person (or the full balance for bookings made within 56 days of departure), plus the full insurance premium (where applicable) at the time of booking. For passengers booking direct with Ocean Village, deposits are only payable by credit or debit card. These deposits are not returnable in the case of cancellation but may be recoverable under your insurance cover.
