Aruba
A little European, a little Caribbean, a little South American and a touch of Arizona desert... It may be small but Aruba packs it all in!
Just 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela and part of the Dutch Antilles, the ‘A’ of the ‘ABC’ islands (along with Bonaire and Curaçao) has endless sunshine and cooling trade winds to fan you while you tan. Blow your mind with world-class windsurfing or suck on a snorkel and fin around with the fish. All beached out? Then hit the colourful capital Oranjestad – with duty-free status it’s your cue to shop till you drop.
Don’t Miss
Arikok National Park – Get back to nature exploring the hiking trails in this environmental sanctuary. Keep an eye out for the island’s unique plant and animal species and check out some of the Arawak drawings.
