Ocean Village in the March Issue of New Woman Magazine

Read how Ocean Village Two in the Caribbean was rated 'Best for Coupley Romance'

Why?

When you are splashing about on a Caribbean holiday, why limit yourself to one island?  Taking the cruise option means you can lounge on a new beach every day.  Plus, Ocean Village Two has the plush feel of a proper old-fashioned cruise, but without the stuffy formality, so all you have to do is sip Champagne on deck and wait for new views to arrive.

Below deck

There are cabins to suit every budget, but if you're pushing the boat out, get one with a balcony on deck ten or 11 and be the first to glimpse a new island each morning.  All the cabins look like spacious, chic hotel rooms, so you can really settle in and feel at home.

All aboard

There's plenty to do, including a pool, aerobics room, sauna and spa overlooking the sea.  The ship boasts four restaurants - the most romantic is celebrity chef James Martin's Bistro with treats like salmon on a bed of pumpkin and lobster oil risotto.  If you can still move afterwards, choose from stand-up comedians, tribute bands and even trapeze artists.

On shore

It's all about white sand, crystal sea, rainforests and that laid-back spirit you just don't get anywhere else.  Starting in Barbados, you'll take in Isla Margarita, Grenada, St Lucia, Martinique and St Vincent.  There's lots to do en route, from rum-tasting in St Lucia to a waterfall tour in St Vincent with a catamaran rise past Pirates of the Caribbean locations.

Price

Seven nights on Ocean Village Two start at £849pp.  Includes flights, transfers, ensuite accommodation, dining on board and tips.  Balcony cabins start at £1,117.*
