Family cabins
There are a number of cabin options for families, depending on your budget and the age of your children. The best value arrangements for families with children are cabins with 3 and 4 beds and you can find them marked with a black dot on the deck plans. There are also cots available if required. Alternatively you can choose a suite which has a sofa that folds down into a bed. For Mediterranean cruises, children must be aged 13 or under at the time of sailing to qualify for children’s prices. In the Caribbean they must be aged 11 or under. Above those ages, the adult 3rd and 4th berth prices will apply, which still represents a significant saving (please see below). Alternatively, especially if your children are older, you may wish to simply book two cabins either next door to or opposite one another.
All cabins are air-conditioned and feature: Two lower beds (convertible to queen size unless otherwise stated) • En suite shower room with WC • Hair/body wash and towels are provided • Wardrobe and drawer space • Dressing table/writing desk • Easy chair and stool • Television (with radio) • Direct dial telephone • Safe • Fridge • Hairdryer • Tea and coffee making facilities
Share and Save
If three or four adults book together and share a cabin equipped with additional beds, then our 3rd/4th adult saving applies. In most twin cabins, these extra beds are pulled down from the wall or ceiling and are be stowed away during the day. In Suites and some Ocean Village Two cabins they are a sofa or chair bed. If the 3rd/4th beds are used then the lower beds can only be configured as twins in most cabins (except for AA and AB grades). The first two passengers pay the full adult fare minus the saving of up to 45% and then minus the 3rd/4th adult discount. It is advisable to book these places early as only a limited number of these extra beds will be available for sale on each cruise.
