Selecting cabins for family holidays
There are a number of cabin options for families depending on your budget and the age of your children. The best value are those with 3 and 4 beds that are folded away during the day to give more space and come down in the evening. You can find them marked with a symbol next to the cabin number on the deck plans. Cabins aboard Ocean Village are larger than you'd find on competitor ships, with standard rooms totalling approximately 188 square feet.
Alternatively you can choose one of our AA and AB grade suites which has a sofa that folds down into a bed or if your children are older you may wish to simply book two cabins either next to or opposite one another. We can provide travel cots in many cabins and have special low fares for infants (see below).
Child prices apply when a child shares a cabin with two adult fare paying passengers. For Mediterranean cruises, children must be aged 13 or under at the time of sailing to qualify for children’s prices (from £149). In the Caribbean they must be aged 11 or under (from £399). Above those ages, the adult 3rd and 4th berth prices will apply, which still represents a significant saving (please see below).
Share and Save
If three or four adults (or older kids above our child age cut off) book together and share a cabin equipped with additional beds, then our 3rd/4th adult saving applies. The first two passengers pay the full adult fare minus the saving of up to 45% and then minus the 3rd/4th adult discount. It is advisable to book these places early as only a limited number of these extra beds will be available for sale on each cruise. Please note if the 3rd/4th beds are used then the lower beds can only be configured as twins in most cabins (except for AA and AB grades). Please note, where additional pull-down beds are used, the twin beds cannot be turned into a queen-sized bed.

Bringing the children on holiday? Then book early, as child places may be limited in peak season and there are only a limited number of cabins with extra beds available for sale on each cruise.
We are unable to accept bookings for any children, who, at your chosen departure date, are aged less than 6 months.
